On oct. 31, 2007 we went to Germany to pick her up, she was 13 weeks old. At home we let her meet the others and it soon became apparent that she did what she wanted and Royce our other dog had nothing to say, hence her name Rebel.

Rebel is a very easy dog, she is very sweet, extremely cuddly, sensitive, biddable and obedient. She’s all these words and more. She retrieves everything (very handy) she even goes so far as to get things out of the trashcan for attention. She also loves to run, one of her favorite games is chasing, she likes to be the chasee. Calm and cuddly in house, ready for action when necessary.

When we picked her up we had already seen her on sheep, which was wonderful to see. After that she was always with us on our land. Rebel is easy to train and very fast, and she can do great outruns and has nice flanks. For an Aussie she has a lot of eye.

These days she also does some real farm work every now and then.

May 2009 she got her Started title on ducks, sheep & cattle in 6 runs with 4x 1st places unfortunately under the same Judge, so she did 1 more trial in may 2015 with 2x 1st places and 1x 2nd.

On her Open runs she won: High Combined, High in Trial and High Combined Non-WTCH

In May 2016 she finished her Advanced Titles for ducks, sheep and cattle with a few placings, on the 1st day she went:

High Combined non-WTCH

the day after she finished her working title she went:

High in Trial cattle

And in June 2017 she finished her Open Field Trial Dog title on ducks sheep & cattle (OFTDsdc)
